Unofficial: Making a Killer Udemy Course

This unofficial course [not made or sanctioned by Udemy itself] will take you through the steps of designing your own course on the Udemy website. Starting with a navigation through the new course dashboard, it will acquaint you with the layout of the course creation platform provided by Udemy. After that we’ll look at:

1. Creating an Instructor Profile and learning to write your own Biography.
2. Planning your course by (a) listing your learning outcomes, (b) proposing prerequisites that potential students must meet in order to succeed in taking your course, and (c) really defining who your potential students are.
3. Creating the content for your course by planning your curriculum – starting with an outline – and then gradually adding your content to it. The content comes in the form of different “items” placed throughout your course – for example: lectures (in the form of videos or slides), quizzes, assignments, etc.
4. Then following the steps that show you how to finally publish your own course, starting with a detailed Landing Page and ideas for promoting your course.

Assignments have been placed at intervals throughout the course to guide you in completing the fields actually required on the website – meaning that by the end of this course, you will have already laid out the foundation blocks of your own course!
