This tests are multiple-choice assessment used to evaluate applicants’ knowledge of Canada’s history, geography, government, laws, symbols, as well as their rights and responsibilities.
Each test consists of 20 questions with Explanations. The test is available in English.

Taking the test
The Canadian Citizenship Test is usually taken at a Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) office. The test is typically 30 minutes long.
Applicants are not allowed to bring any notes or study materials into the test room. They are also not allowed to use calculators or other electronic devices.
Results
Applicants will receive their test results immediately after completing the test. If an applicant passes the test, they will be invited to attend a citizenship ceremony.
If an applicant fails the test, they will be given the opportunity to retake the test.
