Course Description
This course will introduce you to one of the fundamental concepts of the English legal system: case law.
The aim of the course is to illustrate some of the key legal cases in the United Kingdom from the last 150 years or so.
Your teacher will introduce you to the facts of each case, explain the decisions made by the judges and also look at any appeals that may have been heard.
You will also learn about the impact that the case has had on the law of England and Wales and the British people.
Who can take part?
This programme is for those with an interest in law who have studied or would like to study the subject at university. All are welcome, regardless of your previous educational experience.
You do not need any particular qualifications or experience to take part, but a curious mind and an interest in law would be an advantage!
The course consists of recorded webinars guided by an experienced law teacher.
