Course Description
This course is to orient students completing a placement at The Herd Intergenerational Learning Centre. Students will develop an understanding of how our service operates. After completing this course, students will:
- Understand key documents and legislation that inform and guide our practice
- Understand our service philosophy and management structure
- Understand how our service operates, including daily routines, work, health and safety practices and key policies and procedures
- Understand how to use the OWNA app (optional)
